How we work

Our Editorial Standards for VisiFlora Pages

Quick answer

Every fact on this site comes from the VisiFlora sales page, the brand graphics or a linked public source such as NEI, FDA or the FTC. Where the seller publishes nothing, we write "not published" instead of guessing. We do not repeat untested sales claims, unverified reviews or crossed-out prices, and we fix errors fast.

Sources

Where does this website get its facts?

From two kinds of sources: what the seller publishes about VisiFlora, and what public health bodies and peer-reviewed studies say about eyes and nutrients.

We treat them very differently. Seller pages tell us what is being sold and on what terms. They are not proof that it works.

How we use each type of source

Our process

How is each VisiFlora page written and checked?

Each page goes through the same five steps before it goes live. A page fails if a single health fact has no source behind it.

  1. Collect

Open the seller pages and save what they say, with the date.

  2. Source

Match every health statement to a public source or a research review.

  3. Write

Use short sentences and plain words for adults who want straight answers.

  4. Check

Test each claim word, price and number against our rules.

  5. Review

Send health pages to the medical reviewer once one is engaged.

The gaps

How do we show what the seller does not publish?

We draw what is known and mark the rest as unknown. Zinc is the one amount we can chart.

Bars are drawn to scale against the daily need, the upper limit or the amount used in research. Zinc is the only VisiFlora amount the seller publishes (Brand advertorial, ACCESS Newswire); a dashed, empty bar means the amount is not published, so it cannot be drawn or compared.

The seller publishes no Supplement Facts panel, and a brand advertorial confirms that only zinc has an amount (Brand advertorial, ACCESS Newswire). So we never estimate a dose, and we never call VisiFlora an AREDS2 match. On a real panel, vitamins and minerals with a Daily Value must be listed with amounts, even inside a proprietary blend (FDA: Supplement Facts and proprietary blends). See what the label lists.

Sales claims

How do we handle the VisiFlora sales page claims?

We quote them, say who made them, and set them beside the evidence. We do not repeat the big numbers as facts.

The sales page and its upsell page make large claims for single ingredients without citing any study (Sales page, tryvisiflora.com). A product sold to treat or prevent a disease is regulated as a drug (FDA: dietary supplement Q&A). FDA lists "one product does it all", success stories and quick fixes among the signs of health fraud (FDA: 6 tip-offs to health scams).

The record on eye supplements shows why this matters. In 2005 an eye-supplement seller paid $450,000 to settle FTC charges over claims about lost vision and floaters (FTC: 2005 eye supplement settlement).

House rules

Which rules guide the words on this site?

A short list of rules covers health claims, prices, reviews and people. Each one exists to stop a reader being misled.

Our house rules and the reason for each
TopicOur ruleWhy
Eye diseaseNever say VisiFlora treats or prevents an eye diseaseNo trial supports it, and the law treats such claims as drug claims
PricesOnly prices shown on the sales page on a stated dateStruck "regular" prices show nothing anyone paid
ReviewsNone shown until matched to a real orderUnverified stories cannot be checked
PeopleNo doctor, scientist or buyer named without proofA name implies a review or an endorsement
BadgesShown with a note on what each one does and does not meanNo badge names a certifier
Urgent symptomsEvery health page points to an eye doctorSome vision changes are emergencies

Customer reviews

How do we treat customer reviews?

We publish a review only after the order desk matches it to a real order and the buyer agrees. We do not pay for reviews, and we publish negative ones too.

The FTC banned fake reviews, bought reviews and undisclosed insider reviews in 2024 (FTC: fake reviews rule). It also warns that a fake review can be nearly impossible to spot (FTC: how to evaluate online reviews). That is why the review slots on this site are still empty. Read the full method on the reviews page.

Medical review

What does medical review mean on this site?

It means a licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist (MD, DO or OD) has read the page for accuracy. Until that happens, the reviewer box at the foot of each page is a blank slot.

We never fill that slot with a name, photo or title before a real review. Our writers are the VisiFlora editorial team, and the byline says so. Learn who runs this site.

Corrections

How do we correct mistakes and update pages?

We fix confirmed errors as soon as we can and change the "Updated" date on the page. All pages were last checked against the seller pages on October 12, 2026.

  • Send errors to [email protected], Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET
  • Name the page and quote the line
  • If the sales page changes a price or term, we update ours to match and date it

Independence

Does money change what we write?

No. We earn a share of sales from our order links, and we still list every gap and downside we find. Visifloradaily is a USA authorized retailer, not the manufacturer.

FAQ

Questions about our standards

Where does this website get its VisiFlora facts?

Product facts come from the VisiFlora sales page, its policy pages, the brand graphics and a brand advertorial. Health facts come from public bodies such as NEI, FDA and the FTC and from research reviews, each linked where it is used.

Why does this site not repeat the VisiFlora sales page claims?

Because they cite no studies (Sales page, tryvisiflora.com). The FTC says health claims need careful human trials, and testimonials are never enough (FTC: health product advertising rules). We quote the claims, name who made them and show what the evidence says.

Why do VisiFlora pages say "amount not published"?

Because the seller gives an amount for zinc only. No Supplement Facts panel is published, and the brand's own advertorial says no other quantity is disclosed (Brand advertorial, ACCESS Newswire). We would rather show a gap than guess.

Are the VisiFlora reviews on this site paid?

No. There are no reviews on the site yet, and none will be bought. A review appears only after the order desk matches it to a real order and the buyer agrees to share it.

Does this site use AI-written reviews?

No. The FTC's 2024 rule bans reviews from people who do not exist, including AI-generated ones (FTC: fake reviews rule). Every review slot here stays empty until a real, matched buyer fills it.

How often are the VisiFlora pages updated?

Whenever the seller changes a price, term or label detail, or a reader reports an error we confirm. Each page shows its last update date; the current pages were checked on October 12, 2026.

Why does this site cite the FTC and FDA so often?

Because they set the rules on supplement claims and reviews. FDA does not approve supplements before sale (FDA: dietary supplement Q&A), and the FTC polices health advertising, so their pages are the fairest yardstick we have.
