What the label lists

VisiFlora Supplement Facts: What the Label Lists

Quick answer

The VisiFlora sales page names 21 ingredients and lists zinc at 11 mg.

Lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin and the other ingredients are named without amounts. Read the Supplement Facts panel on your own bottle before you compare it with other products.

The short version

Does VisiFlora publish a Supplement Facts panel?

No. We could not find a Supplement Facts panel on the sales page, the upsell page or the brand's advertorials.

The brand's own paid advertorial says the same thing: only zinc has a published amount, and no other quantity, extract strength or per-capsule breakdown is disclosed (Brand advertorial, ACCESS Newswire). Everything here is typed from the sales page, not a label photo.

What does the VisiFlora label list, line by line?

Eleven lines that sum up what the seller publishes.

What the seller lists

Typed from the sales page · No Supplement Facts panel is published

  1. The only amount the seller publishes. It equals the RDA for men (8 mg for women), is far under the 40 mg upper limit, and is far below the 80 mg used in AREDS.

Typed from the sales page (Sales page, tryvisiflora.com), not from a label photo. Check the panel on your own bottle.

Tap a line to see what it means. The brand graphic names six headline ingredients and shows 30 capsules; it gives no amounts.

The gaps

What is missing from the VisiFlora label?

Most of what a buyer needs to judge a formula. Here is what a real panel shows next to what VisiFlora publishes.

What a standard Supplement Facts panel shows, next to what the VisiFlora sales page publishes
ItemOn a standard panelVisiFlora, published
Serving sizeYesOne capsule a day with food (Sales page, tryvisiflora.com)
Capsules per bottleYes30, from the brand graphics only (Brand advertorial, ACCESS Newswire)
Zinc amountYes, with % Daily Value11 mg; no % Daily Value given
Vitamins A, C, E, copper, selenium, chromiumYes, each with an amountNot published
Lutein and zeaxanthinYes, or inside a blend totalNot published
Plant extracts, astaxanthin and taurine (12 more)Yes, or inside a blend totalNot published
Other ingredients (shell, fillers)YesNot published
Manufacturer or distributorYesNot named

That leaves 20 of 21 amounts unknown. The capsule shell is not listed, so allergy and vegan questions also stay open.

The count

Is VisiFlora 22-in-1 or 21-in-1?

The sales page says "22-in-1" and "22 powerful ingredients", but it names 21 (Sales page, tryvisiflora.com). We could not find the 22nd name anywhere the seller publishes.

A buyer should be able to match every claimed ingredient to a label line. Count the lines on your own bottle; if the panel names a 22nd ingredient, it will be there.

How labels work

How do proprietary blends and Daily Values work on a real panel?

A blend can hide single amounts, but vitamins and minerals cannot hide. FDA rules let a panel group plant ingredients as a "Proprietary Blend" with only the total weight, listed in order from most to least (FDA: Supplement Facts and proprietary blends).

Ingredients that have a Daily Value, such as vitamins A, C and E, zinc, copper, selenium and chromium, must still be listed one by one with amounts (FDA: Supplement Facts and proprietary blends). So a real VisiFlora panel should show at least those seven amounts.

Why this matters for eyes

Eye vitamins are judged by dose. Researchers who compared store brands with the AREDS formulas found many used lower doses or added extra ingredients (AAO: what's in your eye vitamins). Without amounts, no one can say where VisiFlora falls.

Your bottle

How can you check the label on your own VisiFlora bottle?

Five minutes when the box arrives gives you the record the sales page does not.

  1. Photograph the panel

Take a clear photo of the Supplement Facts panel and the other-ingredients line.

  2. Compare with AREDS2

Look for lutein 10 mg, zeaxanthin 2 mg, zinc 80 mg, vitamin C 500 mg, vitamin E 400 IU and copper 2 mg (NEI: AREDS and AREDS2 formula doses).

  3. Check beta-carotene

If you smoke or used to, note the vitamin A line and ask your eye doctor about it (NEI: AREDS and AREDS2 formula doses).

  4. Ask about the lot

Call +1 (302) 200-3480 and ask the order desk which lot number shipped to you.

The seller gives lot VIS-26/VI-6730 and CoA reference VIS-6730-26-VI. These are reference codes, not lab results; no certificate of analysis is published. More on the testing and quality page.

Next step

What should you do with what the label shows?

Bring the bottle or your photo to your eye doctor. Ask whether the amounts fit your eyes and your medicines, and whether an AREDS2 formula makes more sense if you have AMD (NEI: who AREDS supplements help).

See what each of the 21 ingredients does, or our guide to choosing an eye supplement for how to read any eye-vitamin label.

FAQ

Questions about the VisiFlora label

Where can I find the VisiFlora Supplement Facts panel?

Only on the bottle itself. The sales page, the upsell page and the brand's advertorial show no panel, and the advertorial says only zinc has a published amount (Brand advertorial, ACCESS Newswire). Photograph the panel when your order arrives.

Why does VisiFlora not list amounts?

The seller does not say why. FDA rules allow a proprietary blend to show only a total weight, but vitamins and minerals with a Daily Value must be listed with their own amounts on a real panel (FDA: Supplement Facts and proprietary blends).

Is the 22-in-1 claim on VisiFlora accurate?

Not by the published list. The sales page uses the phrase but names only 21 ingredients (Sales page, tryvisiflora.com). We found no 22nd name on any page the seller publishes. Count the lines on your own bottle's panel to see whether a 22nd ingredient appears there.

What is the VisiFlora capsule count per bottle?

Thirty, per the brand bottle and ingredient graphics. The sales page text does not state a count, and the brand's advertorial notes the same gap (Brand advertorial, ACCESS Newswire). At one capsule a day, one bottle lasts about 30 days.

Does the VisiFlora label name a manufacturer?

Not on any page we could check: no manufacturer or legal entity is named. The terms just say "VisiFlora (the Company)". A real label usually names a manufacturer or distributor, so look for that line on your bottle.

What are the other ingredients in VisiFlora?

They are not published. The capsule shell and any fillers are not listed on the sales page. If you have an allergy or follow a strict diet, read the other-ingredients line on your bottle before you take the first capsule.

Is the VisiFlora lot number proof of lab testing?

No. Lot VIS-26/VI-6730 and CoA reference VIS-6730-26-VI are seller reference codes. No certificate of analysis is published, and we found no independent lab test of VisiFlora.
